La detención en Venezuela del gendarme argentino Nahuel Gallo ha generado duros intercambios entre altos funcionarios de los gobiernos de ambos países, incluido el presidente de Argentina, Javier Milei, que cargó contra su homólogo, Nicolás Maduro.
Al conocer sobre la captura, el presidente argentino llamó a su par “dictador criminal”, calificó lo ocurrido de “secuestro ilegal” y pidió su “liberación inmediata“. Además, llamó a agotar “todas las vías diplomáticas para devolverlo sano y salvo”.
Ambos países rompieron relaciones en julio del 2024, luego de que Caracas mandara a retirar su personal diplomático de Buenos Aires, ante el desconocimiento del Gobierno argentino de los resultados de las elecciones donde Maduro resultó ganador.
Aunque el presidente venezolano no ha emitido respuesta sobre estos nuevos dardos en su contra por parte de Milei, el canciller venezolano, Yván Gil, publicó en su cuenta de Telegram un mensaje dirigido a la Casa Rosada en el que tilda de “desquiciados” a quienes “gobiernan Argentina”. Asimismo, afirma que “fueron descubiertos con las manos en la masa tratando de introducir elementos violentos en Venezuela”.
“Han cometido un grave error y han dejado en el camino innumerables pruebas físicas que los comprometen en un plan terrorista“, agregó Gil.
¿Por qué detuvieron al gendarme?

“¿Qué venía a hacer a Venezuela? ¿Cuál era su tarea?”, se preguntó Cabello, quien agregó que “probablemente” las autoridades lo informarán “en algún momento”.
El ministro venezolano tachó de “fachada” y de “excusa” el hecho de que Gallo argumentara que se dirigía a Venezuela, desde el vecino país de Colombia, para visitar a su pareja. “El que viene a conspirar, que asuma su responsabilidad“, añadió.
Según aseveró, debido a que ambos países rompieron relaciones, “se dificulta un poco” el caso. Sin embargo, destacó que a “todos los detenidos en Venezuela se les garantizan sus derechos fundamentales“.
La respuesta de Bullrich
La titular argentina de Seguridad, Patricia Bullrich, no escatimó adjetivos negativos para dirigirse a Cabello, su par.
La ministra afirmó que la detención de Gallo ha sido tomada “casi como un acto de guerra“, recoge Minuto Uno.
Bullrich considera que el gendarme es un “rehén” que ha sido “secuestrado” para “intentar negociar un salvoconducto”.
En sus declaraciones, llamó a Cabello “dictador sanguinario”, mientras que el ministro venezolano le respondió que era una “fascista”, además de cuestionar que el reclamo territorial sobre las islas Malvinas no se declare como “acto de guerra”.
