Un hombre y un adolescente fueron detenidos por su supuesta participación en un plan para llevar a cabo un atentado con bomba en el multitudinario concierto que la cantante estadounidense Lady Gaga ofreció ayer sábado 3 de mayo del 2025 en la playa de Copacabana de Río de Janeiro, Brasil y al que asistieron más de 2 millones de espectadores, recogen este domingo medios locales.
Ambos sujetos fueron detenidos durante un operativo realizado por la Policía Civil de Río de Janeiro y el Ministerio de Justicia y Seguridad Pública brasileño. La operación policial se inició a partir de una investigación que reveló la existencia de un grupo que reclutaba personas, incluidos menores de edad, para perpetrar ataques coordinados.

Según los informes, el frustrado plan implicaba el uso de explosivos improvisados y bombas molotov, y su fin era ganar notoriedad en las redes sociales. Este grupo es para promover la radicalización entre adolescentes, los discursos de odio, las autolesiones, la pedofilia y la distribución de contenidos violentos en las plataformas sociales.
El hombre identificado como líder de la organización criminal fue detenido en Rio Grande do Sul por posesión ilegal de arma de fuego. En Río de Janeiro, el adolescente fue arrestado por participar en el esquema y por almacenar pornografía infantil.
En total, nueve personas fueron objeto de búsqueda y captura en Campo Novo do Parecis (MT); Río, Niterói y Duque de Caxias (RJ); São Sebastián do Cai (RS); y Cotia, São Vicente y Vargem Grande Paulista (SP), con el apoyo de las fuerzas policiales de esos estados.

En la acción participaron agentes de la policía civil de la Comisaría de Atención a Víctimas de la Infancia y la Adolescencia (DCAV), del Departamento de Represión de Delitos Cibernéticos (DRCI), de la Coordinación de Recursos Especiales (Core), de la 19ª Comisaría de Policía (Tijuca) y del Laboratorio de Operaciones Cibernéticas (Ciberlab) del Ministerio de Justicia y Seguridad Pública (MJSP).
